The Tennessee Walking Horse was "officially" recognized as a breed in 1950 but this all-around horse has been in existence much longer than that.  The TWH National Celebration was organized in 1939 and this yearly event crowns the World's Grand Champion Walking Horse.  With its many unique attributes, it's no wonder that the Walking Horse has exploded with growth since it's founding days!

Promised Land Farm was established in 1999 and set out to bring back the original bloodlines that the Tennessee Walking Horse industry was founded on.   We have broodmares directly out of WGC Ebony Masterpiece, the great sire Prides Generator, WGC Prides Jubilee Star and WGC The Touch.  You'll recognize other top stallions on our mares' registration papers including Pride of Midnight HF, Mark of Carbon and Marshall Dillon.  We love, handle and train our babies from the moment of birth so they have great ground manners including parking out and loving attention!  The comments we hear most from our buyers is what great personalities our babies have & how friendly they are!
